The Microtel MCS1020 is extremely basic. It has a decent processor but only 256MB of RAM and a dinky 40GB hard drive. However, it does come with Windows XP Home and has two USB ports available on the front of the tower.

Upgrades to consider:

Increase RAM to 512 MB for $30 (or better yet to 1GB for $82), increase hard drive to 80GB for $12 and add a CD–RW/DVD Combo Drive for $39. Unfortunately, you cannot upgrade the video card, so if you are a gamer or plan to do multimedia work, this system is not for you.
