This economy PC comes with a Pentium 4 processor, 512 MB of RAM and an 80 GB hard drive. Although this system is capable of running most programs, it does not come with an operating system.
Unlike many budget systems it comes with a multi format 16X DVD RW and 8 USB ports.
Upgrades to Consider:
First off, you have to add an operating system, either Windows XP Home for $99 or a CD version of Linux for much less. If you plan on working with media you will want to upgrade the graphics card to at least the 256 MB ATI Radeon X300 for $65. After adding the OS and a better graphics card the system totals over $663. So you may be better off considering one of our lower priced and higher ranked choices.
