This is the lowest price desktop we looked at, less than $350. This basic model comes with an AMD Sempron 3000+ processor and only 256MB of RAM. The 80GB hard drive is big enough if you do not plan to store media.

Upgrades to consider:

Skip this one and upgrade to the J110 for less than $550, it has a Pentium D, 512 MB of RAM and a 160 GB hard drive.
